Winston-salem based musicians - an established violin and viola duo.

Below is a list of performances and background music events we can perform for. We also offer unique services such as performing new works and collaborations with other art forms. We are able to play any type of music: Classical, Pop, Jazz, Rock, Classic Rock. We are always willing to take requests! We can play covers of popular tunes and we are always happy to make our own arrangements of music for our duo!

We offer our services throughout North Carolina

We are based in Winston-Salem, but we are happy to travel all over North Carolina, parts of Virginia, and Parts of South Carolina for your event. We offer set rates for each event, however, there is an added travel cost for events outside of the Winston-Salem Forsyth County areas.

Background Music

We will perform background music to heighten the atmosphere at your restaurant, at your gathering, your corporate function, birthday celebrations, dinner parties, etc.

We are able to play several types of music and arrangements of music including: Classical, Jazz, Pop, Rock, Classic Rock.

We are happy to take requests and to come up with a program that fits what you want!

Music Commissions

Commission us to write and perform a piece of music for someone special. Are you looking for a special gift for a friend or loved one… a wedding gift? anniversary gift? birthday gift? Or are you looking to have something specially crafted for you or your business? Give the gift of music! Duo Licht will personally write and perform an original piece of music that is unique for the person/business we are writing/performing for! Email us for inquiries and pricing: andylilian@duolicht.com

The cost includes:

  • Writing the music - (working with you to craft the piece of music based on you/friend’s/loved-one’s likes and preferences.

  • Recording the music (we will send a copy to the person/business it is written for, so that you can listen to it anytime!)

  • Performing it live to the person it is written for (we charge an extra travel fee if outside the Triad). Perfect for a gift to experience in the moment!

  • If you don’t want a live performance of it, or live out of state: we will send a video/audio recording (for a reduced cost).

our prices

Our rates for our services are standard for most musicians. We both have extensive experience performing and we both have several degrees, including Masters degrees in music performance. Some of our costs help us to cover: strings, bow re-hairs, music, instrument upkeep, repairs. These have to be updated regularly in order for us to sound our best. We are committed to high standards of performing and we are constantly refining our craft as musicians through the time we spend practicing.
